Turning research and real stories into national reach
To mark Loneliness Awareness Week, Compass Studio led the media and PR strategy for Ending Loneliness Together, built around this year's theme, Make Room For Connection. We led a phased rollout, from long lead pitching through to an embargoed research launch, pairing personal stories with the State of the Nation research report and expert spokespeople to give the campaign both an emotional and evidence-based foundation. The result was Tier 1 coverage across national broadcast, print, digital, podcasts and radio, turning the national conversation toward the everyday connectors holding our communities together.
20M+ Reach Over a Two-Month Period
The campaign secured Tier 1 coverage across a range of media including Channel 7's Sunrise and The Morning Show, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Australian, Triple j and The Daily Telegraph. This placed Ending Loneliness Together's message in front of millions of Australians during their highest engagement campaign to date.
350% Increase in Website Visits
Sustained media momentum drove a 350% increase in visits to the Ending Loneliness Together website during Loneliness Awareness Week, compared to the previous year.
200% increase in Supporter Toolkit Downloads
The campaign's storytelling translated directly into action, with downloads of the supporter toolkit up 200% during Loneliness Awareness Week compared to last year, turning national awareness into tangible community engagement.
